Colors of Summer
July 15th-August 8th Opening Reception: July 15th, 6pm-10pm Come See An Exploration of Warm Shades, Hues, and Tones With a continued celebration of the energy that the summer season brings, our new exhibit (in the summer series), "Colors of Summer: An Exploration of Warm Shades, Hues, and Tones" focuses on color identity and definition working strictly within a warm palette.

"Colors of Summer: An Exploration of Warm Shades, Hues, and Tones" will be on exhibit at Design Studio Art Gallery from July 15th - August 8th, 2010. Design Studio Art Gallery will hold an artists' opening reception on Thursday, July 15th from 6-10pm.

Our new exhibit: "Colors of Summer: An Exploration of Warm Shades, Hues, and Tones" is a look into how warm colors define and illustrate mood, ambiance, environment, and in this case specifically, a season--summer. This exhibit examines how these colors combine to create art that denotes familiarity in terms of place and environment.

As we all experience summer, her landscape, her energy, and her ambiance, we look forward to hosting this exhibit that provides responses to these questions: How do you illustrate summer? How do interpret her energy? How do you define this season? How will a palette of warm tones and colors, answer these aforementioned questions?
