With an emphasis on promoting and supporting the arts, Design Studio Art Gallery became the perfect vehicle to deliver the message that the arts are still alive and still essential to social, cultural, and personal advancement.
    Creativity is never underestimated, never taken for granted, and always welcomed! Winston Churchill said it best when he remarked that “We shape our spaces; thereafter they shape us.” We truly believe that one’s environment is essential to shaping one’s existence in every capacity. And art is always part of one’s environment. Design Studio Art Gallery’s commitment to art and design has been the catalyst for this new venture. Design Studio Art Gallery was established in 2008. It is owned and operated by two Interior Designers, Erica Riggio and Nancy Evans. Both designers are committed to advancing the arts. Mrs. Evans is a Professor at The George Washington University and has dedicated her life’s work to education and design. Erica Riggio is a graduate from The George Washington University and has an MFA in Interior Design. Ms. Riggio and Mrs. Evans both own their own design firms as well.
